Since I'm feeling somewhat better now, I seized the opportunity to update my iPod. Believe it or not, I DO listen to some non-Kindermusik recordings (occasionally). Here is a portion of my new playlist:
- Rickie Lee Jones, We Belong Together
- Karl Jenkins, Dies Irae, Mare Australis
- The Dirty Dozen Brass Band, I Shall Not Be Moved
and, because I just really like this movie for some reason, the soundtrack to Labyrinth--David Bowie in all his glory.

Oh, Sarah, I remember being *SOOO* sick like that with my last one. It seemed to go on forever, but ended somewhere around week 14, I think. I lived off of saltine crackers and Lemonade-flavored Gatorade that normally makes me gag! Hang in there!
Thanks, Merri! I'm holding out hope for that 14 week mark! :-)
I seem to remember watching Labyrinth back in Elementary school. I don't remember what grade, though.
We just bought the 2nd season of the Muppet Show, released on DVD, the other day. We got the first season as a Christmas gift a couple of years ago and I'm surprised we haven't worn the discs out.
I hope you're feeling better today.
It seems like we watched in the library in 4th grade. I remember having to fast-forward through the one bad word in the movie.
Ah, the muppet show. I've been watching that on YouTube. I heard that they were going to bring that back on regular television. Our childhood is cool again!
Sarah, I just want to send big hugs your way. You are so loved by so many (kids and Mommys!). We hope you are on your feet again soon.
Thanks, Lisa! You know I love your little ones (and you, too).
Best wishes for a speedy pass through the sickness phase. Jacob thought my "morning" sickness was hilarious. Took us a long time to get him to stop spitting in the toilet (and the sink, and the grass, and the banana stand at the grocery store - don't ask - it wasn't pretty the first time!).
May you regain your energy soon!
